• SSI is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Successful candidate will have strong SQL Server experience

• The well rounded individual should have the ability to design, maintain and implement major portions of our existing data warehouse in addition to having an excellent knowledge of SQL Server SSIS, Analysis Services SSAS -(OLAP), Reporting Services - SSRS

• Design, develop and test new applications, interfaces, software tools, ad-hoc and regular reports.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications, interfaces, software tools, ad-hoc and regular reports including bug-fixes and enhancements

• Write new reports or maintain existing ones. These could be one-off ad-hoc reports or regular reports which show financial, analytical or informational data

• Responsible for creating logical data and physical models based upon functional specifications of business requirements as provided by the Systems Analysts and other members of the project team.

• Responsible for designing and developing data manipulation processes using best-practices SQL coding techniques which are performance optimized

• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining existing ETL processes (SQL SSIS packages) for existing data warehouse including on-call support, as necessary.

• Responsible for designing new and re-factoring older systems under deadline pressure with minimum supervision

• The qualified candidate should be well versed in agile software development methodologies, possess excellent technical problem solving skills, programming and unit testing skills.
